Synopsis

In 41st century, astronaut Barbarella lands on the planet lythion and sets out to find the evil Durand Durand in the city of Sogo, where a new sin is invented every hour. Roger Vadim was born in 1928, Paris, France. He started his film career as an apprentice of film director Marc Allegret, as an assistant director and co-writer. His first film And God created woman (1956), was worldwide sensation and made Brigitte Bardot a star. His sci-fi film Barbarella was released in 1968, and has since become a cult film.
