Since his debut, Simon YAM has appeared in over 200 films and TV drama series until now. He appeared in many films as a policeman, while also taking on the role as different types of villain, including the boss of Triad and a heartless killer. He had worked on many films regardless of genres and characters, and if you ask people who worked with him on the set, they all respond that “he is a nice person and an excellent actor”. At this year’s BiFan, he personally chose 5 films for his own Retrospective and one of his latest films for the audience. This retrospective is not simply held to look back at his past works, but also enabling us to go over what Simon YAM has done as an actor so far and look forward to his acting in the future.
