The Ani Fanta section is an infinite space for imagination that is impossible to realize in live action. Among Asian animated movies – which, unlike western animated features, are characterized by unique lyricism and sharp views – comes Mida, a highly-rated Taiwanese animation. It is specially presented this year, as animated films are so very rarely produced in the Taiwanese film industry. However, thanks to a dream team – made up of the most influential Taiwanese animators and film producers – Mida has finally arrived. Giovanni's Island directed by Nishikubo Mizuho of Production I.G., who came to PiFan with Musashi in 2009, will surely make a huge impression, through a fantasy world dreamed up by children, during turbulent times. Also, Lucky Four in the Service of the King by Michal Zabka, will give you a special experience in watching an animated movie from the Czech Republic, as will The Boy and the World, an animated picture from Brazil.
