Synopsis

Humanity finds a mysterious, obviously artificial object, a monolith buried beneath the Lunar surface and with the intelligent computer H.A.L. 9000, spacecraft Discovery One sets off on a quest. Then H.A.L jeopardizes the mission and astronaut Bowman managed to shut off H.A.L. He finally discovers the monolith but then he is pulled into a vortex of colored light.
