Synopsis

Agent Jesus Juarez, known as Chucho in his neighborhood, has always played the Devil in his town’s Nativity play. But this time, when a new pastor of the church, Edmundo Posadas re-casts the role, Chucho arrives late to audition. Chucho must engage in a battle between good and evil. Could he regain his role?

Emliio Portes is a director and screenwriter. With his first feature, Meet the Head of Juan Perez won 4 awards at Mexican Film Academy in 2010. Pastorela is his second feature film and it sold almost a million tickets in Mexico. At the moment he is working on his third film called Belzebuth, a horror thriller set in Mexico-US border.
