Synopsis

At the close of the 20th century, the science of mankind has completed studies of the habits of all giant monsters, and has confined them in an area known as ‘Monsterland’. However, someone attacks Monsterland, and all of the monsters begin to attack world capitals. In order to find out the truth of the matter, the spaceship, Moonlight SY-3, arrives at Monsterland, and they are faced with Monsterland’s employees who attack them. It turns out that the alien race, ‘Kilaaks’, are the ones that are controlling the monsters.

HONDA Ishiro

Honda Ishiro, often credited as being the father of Godzilla. Toho's most renowned director of science fiction, is most famous for his numerous entries in the Godzilla series, became Legend from Godzilla(1954) to Terror of Mechagodzilla(1975). Honda also was a lifelong friend of director Kurosawa Akira and Honda worked on several of Kurosawa's landmark films including Nora inu(1949), Kagemusha(1980) and Ran(1985). He was embarrassed the warning of nuclear energy with Godzilla that would collect fandom after huge success at box office. Honda passed away aged 83 on February 28th, 1993, with Kurosawa Akira delivering the eulogy at his funeral.
