1969, The time of the Cultural Revolution. Chen Zhen, a young student from Beijing, is sent to Inner Mongolia to teach a nomadic tribe. But Chen learns about community, freedom and responsibility in wilderness. For the most, seduced by wolf, he captures a cub and tries to tame it. But the tribe’s ancient way of life is threatened when a central government decides to eliminate all wolves form the region.
