Synopsis

haOnce a master of sword-fighting, “Madara the Devil” Kyutaro Madarame became masterless these days. His nagging mother-in-law suggests to work as a sword instructor in the Tosa on the island outpost of Shikoku. Reluctantly he decides to go there with his beloved cat, Tamanojo. However, on the way to Shikoku, they confront hardship and difficulties. In fact, this is all doing of Tae, who wants her daughter to divorce. What adventures await this “invincible” duo?

WATANABE Takeshi

Born in Aichi Profecture on 1965. Graduated from Tokyo Graduate School of Photography in 1988, and made his directorial debut with Kyoju Luger P08 in 1994. Noted film and video works include Truth(1997), Yomigaeru Kinro(1998), and Revolver – Aoi Haru(2003). Served as main director for the first season of the Neko Samurai TV series.
