Synopsis

A young man in a personal tailspin flees the US to Italy, where he sparks up a romance with a girl hiding a dark secret. What begins as a naturalistic romance in an idyllic Mediterranean town takes an unexpected turn as the two lovers confront figurative and literal relationship monsters. Balancing dark humor and visceral thrills, SPRING evokes undercurrents of H.P. Lovecraft by way of Before Sunrise.

Justin BENSON, Aaron MOORHEAD

Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, known as Moorhead&Benson, are the co-directing team. They made a sleeper hit Resolution and the film was presented at Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2013. Their second feature, Spring since its world premiere in Toronto International Film Festival, has been travelling over 20 international film festivals.
