Wladyslaw PASIKOWSKI
W©©adys©©aw Pasikowski gained the greatest popularity and commercial success thanks to his second film - Pigs(1992), where he went far beyond the craft of gangster films, introducing a new aesthetics and a new type of a hero in Polish filmmaking. Pasikowski has often been compared to Quentin Tarantino due to the bloody reality of the gangster circles presented in his work. He names Sam Peckinpah, Martin Scorsese and Pierre Melville as his masters.
