Synopsis

Only those invited can gain access a masquerade ball, but the guest-list does include zombies, magicians, vampires and werewolves. A documentary film crew stays in a house of vampires leading up to the ball, with promise that they won’t bite. These vampires find themselves battling with more mundane problems: competing to stand out at the ball and complaining that humans are scared of them.

Taika WAITITI

The two born in New Zealand, distinguish themselves in a comedy genre. After Jemaine’s appearance in Taika’s first feature, Eagle vs. Shark (2007) the two started working on the HBO TV hit, Flight of the Conchords. Taika directed British sitcom The Inbetweeners. What We Do in the Shadows. is his third feature film. Jemaine is a comedian and a musician, the film is his directorial debut.
